How to Wear a Mask for COVID-19

The CDC now recommends that people wear masks in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. See below for a step-by-step process on how to properly wear your mask.

Step 1: Wash your hands.


Step 2: Put your mask on, holding it by the ear loops. Make sure that your nose, mouth, and chin are covered.


Step 3: When it’s time to remove your mask, remove it by the ear loops.


Step 4: If you aren’t going to wash your mask right away, make sure you store it in a plastic bag.
